Take it back, chubby!

I am listening to this song and thinking...why have the stress? When I was in a modeling agency I always had to listen to: You are to fat, your butt is to big, mamma mia! Once I went to Milano as an assistant for the fashion photographer Karel Losenicky, and we went to a few agencies..one told me, we love you! You are a little bit bigger, but Milano needs some ''real'' women 

( Real women please forgive me!) So I came back, this time as a model (after a few years again being there and doing crazy stuff, but about that an other day..)

So I came to the agency and they started to take my measurements (just to remind you, I was there a week ago and I was standing next to them)..the italian with dark complexion doing it, got white and almost fainted on me: ''Mama mia! 93! Are you crazy?! What?! Ma ma mia!'' he screamed. Okay it was my hips and butt who almost gave him an heart attack. Finally he 

said: ''You have one week to loose that or you are going home.'' What was my answer on this awkward situation? ''Brilliant, please buy me a ticket.'' So all ended up with me staying there for a free week of holidays and crazy parties like in the old times. But I never lost my lovely nickname Cicona (fat girl) and never lost my grace. 

What to learn from that story? You will never have what you had (90 cm hips) and you will always want something you might have in a few years.

So girls, just shake it!

Sobotní program Designblok fashionweeku zdobila jména nejznámějších českých návrhářů jako Denisa Nová, Hana Zárubová, návrhářské duo Timoure et group a ano i Klára Nademlýnská.

Z časových důvodů jsem stihla jen večerní přehlídky posledních dvou zmíněných jmen. Možna už ze mě cítíte jakousi skepsi, ale bohužel s tou jsem šla zpět do víru velkoměsta po zhlédnutí přehlídky paní Nademlýnské. Velice líbivá kolekce mě ničím neoslovila a nemohla jsem se zbavit dojmu, že už jsem něco takového někde viděla. Krajkové roby střídali geometricky řešené šaty, na kterých byl rušivým prvkem dominantní zip. Objevilo se několik kabatů, jedny třpytivě zlaté šaty, jedny zelené, jedny modré...Mimo chaotické prezentace mě iritovaly šíroké pásky, které mají své místo spíše na bocích 

a tak v utlých pasech modelek působily rušivě. Nepomohlo tomu ani jejich různorodé výužití. Jednou 

s kabátem, podruhé s krajkovymi šaty a napotřetí? Co třeba se širokou sukní a potišteným trikem!

Zmíněných pár barevných solitérů vyčnívalo, a proto jsem nepochopila, proč jeden z nich neuzavřel celou kolekci. Předposlední červenou robu, kterou hrdě vynesla modelka Zuzana Pavlů bohužel vystřídaly normální černé šaty oblečené trochu nejistou finalistkou Elite model look. Diváci tak nevědomě přišli o nejlepší kousek nakonec.

 Co dodat, naprostá klasika, které chyběl navrhářky rukopis, jež by vše posunul od prezentace butiku 

k autorské přehlídce, která by vedle věhlasných jmen české modní scény zaujala pevný postoj.

 Zapomněla jsem zmínit šílené gepardí boty, no posudte sami.

10 reasons why not to be a model

1. To be a perfect model you need to know that a model doesn't have feelings and basic needs. Its never hungry or thirsty and its never cold. First one is easy, isn't it?

2. Whats her\his is yours. Really, you can do with her\his hair, nails and body everything you want.

♦

3. When your make up and hair is ready you have to walk all day long (till the show starts) like an idiot.

This is not the worse case.

4. Back to the hair and make up. During fashion weeks they change it as many times as many shows there are. Can you imagine somebody tearing your hair all day long and scrubbing your face to get the make up off, more than 2 times a day?

Thats one of the procedures which is important to make you look amazing. It really works, but can you imagine having your head skin burned from all the hair dryers and hair straighteners?

5. Photographers. They are everywhere. Its not that I don't like them but during a show everybody gets naked all the time to change clothes. Isn't it convenient for them to take some shot of naked bodies? If you think that they are gay like most of the men in fashion business than you are wrong. Why shouldn't they take a look at some naked models?

One of the biggest problems, when you are shy than you can go home. Don't get me wrong but everybody is in a hurry so there is no time.

One thing I have to say and give my respect to is to Jakub Polanka. Of course he is an amazing designer but besides that, he is a great person. When we started changing for his show he asked all the camera guys and photographers to leave. Nobody usually does that. So thank you Kubicku!

6. All day long...waiting and waiting. The worse is waiting with your hair done and make up done. Besides the worse what can happen to you is when the Fashion tent isn't finished and its super cold there. Why do u thing everyone was sitting (laying) at the heater?

7. Back to you have to do everything what they want you to do. To wear super crazy high heels? Fantastic!

 8. Food. Everyone think that models don't eat. So most probably there won't be any food, and if yes, prepare yourself for baguettes everyday.

9. I wonder that most of the top models don't end up like that.

10. I am sorry but I can't think of the last reason. To be honest its amazing to do that. But I just wanted to let you know for those who don't have the right height or don't have the right size, there is not much what you can miss!

As you could see this was mostly about fashion shows, shootings are a little different, 

so maybe next time.

Vsem cesko-slovenskym ctenarkam se velice omlouvam, ale smolim tento clanek uz nekolik dnu a nejsem schopna ho prelozit do cestiny. Omlouvam se vam a pokud by vam to nejak rapidne vadilo prosim ozvete se. Je to hlavne pro vas!
